On April 28, 2019, BAPS Charities, Atlanta, will host its annual walkathon in support of The Nature Conservancy and Gwinnett County Sheriff Department.
As the effects of global warming and climate change become stronger across the country, BAPS Charities’ commitment to protecting the environment is even more critical.
Join BAPS Charities Walk Green to help plant 61,000 trees
This year, BAPS Charities will support The Nature Conservancy’s efforts to plant one billion trees by 2025 through their Plant a Billion Trees initiative. Walk Green 2019 will help The Nature Conservancy plant 61,000 additional trees in 2019. During the last four years, from 2016 to 2019, BAPS Charities Walkathons will have helped plant a total of 361,000 trees.
Nearly 900 local participants are expected to join in this act of community service.
